More Dash Showroom opened the doors for Spring-Summer 17 Collection during Paris Fashion Week.
This season the showroom represented 12 upcoming brands from Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia and Thailand. Anna October, Anouki, Alonova, Dafna May, Deeply Personal, FLOW the Label, V by Gres, Marianna Senchina, Negliges, Proskurovskaya, rotsaniyom and Vozianov gained the opportunity to introduce the collections to international buyers and press from all over the world.
In SS17 season More Dash intentionally reduced the number the brands represented for buyers to concentrate the attention particularly on each designer. 6 designers are growing rapidly from season to season and 6 new brands have been represented for the first time: Alonova, Dafna May, V by Gres, Negliges, Proskurovskaya and Vozianov. The amount of buyers visiting and ordering also increased one a half times in comparison to previous season.
The showroom was open for booking the appointments from 29th of September till 5th of October, 9 am — 7 pm by the address: 21 Rue du Bourg Tibourg, 75004 Paris, France.
“This season we came to a complete cycle of the showroom — four times a year we open the doors of More Dash for buyers who come to order collections of designers. We have a strong tendency from season to season to increase the number of buyers and orders from designers — almost all of our brands — Anouki, Marianna Senchina, Anna October, FLOW the Label — doubled or even tripled their results. For example, the Latvian brand Deeply Personal Brand last time had one order, but now — 10-12 orders. By focusing on working with Ukrainian, Eastern European designers, as well as new brands for fashion-industry markets, we have built a platform for cooperation with buyers as the largest stores in the world, and boutiques that specialize in working with new and interesting brands. Harvey Nichols, Matches Fashion, Artifacts, Moda Operandi, Lane Crawford, Sauce, Rare Market, Secret Location, Harrods, Halt Renfrew, My Theresa and many other stores come to order More Dash designers collections this season!” — said Daria Shapovalova, the creative director of More Dash Showroom.
“It is too early to sum up the final results, but the interim are the most optimistic!
12 brands, 7 days, more than 70 meetings with buyers and rendez-vous with the press and digital influencers in More Dash Showroom in Paris.
The main issue that makes us happy is the growing number of appointments with buyers in the showroom, as well as the fact that sometimes, even from the first season, the designers receive orders from new stores.
Of course, the constancy of our loyal customers, that from season to season are coming back to make orders (and sometimes to make several reorders during the season), is crucial for us.
Speaking about geography, the largest markets for the designers introduced in More Dash Showroom are Far East (besides, in SS’17 season this market has grown by orders from Japanese stores), the United Kingdom, Middle East. Also we admitted the growing interest from North America — United States and Canada.
This season we got a lot of compliments from buyers, making sure that the strategy of focusing on a limited number of brands is working: Anna October, Marianna Senchina, Anouki, FLOW The Label, Rotsaniyom, Deeply Personal are showing growth. At the same time, we enable designers to make the first steps on the international market — we also demonstrated collections of Vozianov, V by Gres, Dafna May, Proskurovskaya, Negliges, Alonova in the showroom. By the way, Alonova and Negliges, despite the fact that this is a new brands for the foreign market, were ordered by the buyers right on the spot.
Also we continue to approve all the orders submitted by designers in the showroom on the basis of SS17 season.” — said Natalia Modenova, the executive director of More Dash.
