Elina often uses expression Geometrie Francais for her AW16 collection by this meaning all that contains the French lifestyle – love for life, freedom to be yourself, respect to each other as personalities – to each and every ones personal boundaries.
FLOW the Label (UA)
In each new collection of the Ukrainian-Belgian womenswear label FLOW the Label, fashion and world cultural heritage become merged in the most thoughtful and aesthetically chiselled way. Among FLOW the Label’s sources of inspiration are the French impressionists’ paintings, Ukrainian primitivists’ illustrations, and American movies of the 70’s. Now the label presents its new fall-winter collection based on the works of legendary American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Lako’s Autumn Winter 2016 collection is called “Touch”, she was inspired by the idea of tiles while traveling to Istanbul in one of the metro stations, where predominantly it is mosaic in three dimensions. Lako came up with the idea to use different materials and prints for creating the 3D effect; for this she visited vintage shops and Soviet Union flea markets in Tbilisi and collected different tiles for creating her own print ideas. Every peace in this collection has been made with Lako’s special signature style.
The collection features self-taught printed velvet with leather and embroidery details which are the key pieces to “Touch”.
