Meet emerging talents from Eastern Europe in the collaborative project of SUPER Milano and More Dash Showroom. Carefully selected collections of the designers from Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia and Armenia will be shown at the special area of the brand new location of SUPER at Milan Fashion Week.

Pitti SUPER opens new talents at the new location in September 2016. For Spring-Summer 17 Pitti Immagine and More Dash Agency along with Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days have decided to strengthen their cooperation and created a unique project — MORE DASH: EYE ON THE EAST. The best new Eastern European designers will represent their new Spring-Summer 17 collections. Among the talents, who will present the collections, are Anouki, Bekh, Dafna May, Deeply Personal, FLOW the Label, Marianna Senchina, Proskurovskaya, Shushan, Theo and WeAnnaBe — names from Ukraine, Latvia, Georgia, Armenia.

Pitti Immagine is always keeping an eye on the trend, presenting it the first to the market. Following the great collaboration in Guest Nation: Ukraine showcase, the best brands for MORE DASH: EYE ON THE EAST are carefully picked and curated by the creative director of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and co-founder of More Dash Showroom Daria Shapovalova with Natalia Modenova, More Dash co-founder and executive director of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days.

“Since the first showcase at Pitti, we were always back, as this is a great platform for the young and established brands, so we are glad that designers can grow continuously. We met again together with Mr Rafaello Napoleone, Mr Antonio Cristaudo and Mrs Francesca Tacconi and the idea to show the most interesting brands not only from Ukraine, but from all the Eastern-European region was obvious. I travel a lot, discovering new designers, showcasing many of the Eastern-European designers in Kiev, and we are glad that we can support the new talent, coming from the booming region together”, — says Daria Shapovalova.

“We started to develop designers from all the Eastern-European regions at Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and developed the idea of growing their sales in More Dash Showroom. We see that it’s reasonable for the buyers to see the landscape of the designers of all the region at one place and happy to do it in Milan together with Pitti Super”, — adds Natalia Modenova.

ANOUKI

Anouki is Georgian, Tbilisi-based brand, established in July 2013, with head designer and founder of the brand Anouki Areshidze. Mix of  Italian education in fashion, natural elegance and attention to the traditional Georgian technics makes Anouki unique and remarkable. Shoe line of the brand is featured by numerous publications and her FW1617 show at Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days is covered by Vogue Runway. Anouki is also a finalist of Vogue Talents x Yoox project in Palazzo Morando with her FW1617 collection.

BEKH

Brand BEKh was founded in 2010 by the designer Maria Bekh. Every collection combines Ukrainian heartfulness with the tendencies of world’s fashion-industry. The brand idea is to emphasize the exquisite simplicity and harmony in clothing. The lightness of the silhouette, extraordinary tailoring and amenities of materials depicts the nobleness and uniqueness of the person. The brand’s DNA is contemporary nobility. BEKh presents ‘intellectual fashion’, where each garment has its strong character and deserves its owner.

DAFNA MAY

Dafna May is debuting with her SS17 collection. Dafna gained her degree at Regent College and establishing the brand with professional designer’s education. So there is a strong concept and a real structure behind the brand. Using of the unique prints and bright color selection embodies a “girly” atmosphere in her new collection named “Sweet 2016”.

DEEPLY PERSONAL

Deeply Personal is women’s ready-to-wear fashion brand established in Riga, Latvia in early 2015 by Elina Vanags. The brand’s manifesto is all about minimalism and easy transitional pieces with a slight twist of humor. They are not only reserved for special occasions but reflect the rhythm of her modern muse – a woman who has her own guilty pleasures in-between combining active business and family lives. Debut show of Deeply Personal in Riga was the most expected and demanded, followed with success at PITTI SUPER in More Dash showroom in Paris with FW1617 collection and supported by VOGUE Italia.

FLOW THE LABEL

FLOW the Label — Ukrainian-Belgian womenswear established in 2014. The brand is showing at Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and was mentioned few times on Vogue.com, as well as other media: L’Officiel-online, Marie Claire. FLOW the Label is a wise mix of classic motives, often with a retro twist, and modern trends. Genteel, relaxed and very feminine simplicity of the brand’s refined style is enriched by the easy feel of signature designs, like garments with bright and ironic prints. FLOW The Label producing 4 collections per year and appreciated in Japan for the great quality and design.

MARIANNA SENCHINA

Marianna Senchina has debuted with her graduate Istituto Marangoni Milano collection at Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and became a favourite of the press at once. Her bright ideas with great styling and attention to the quality, experimental details, crafting and ironically fun ideas transform into the DNA and success of Marianna Senchina. The garments are mixed between feminine and unisex silhouettes, however are high demanded among the streetstyle icons and appeared in all the major street style reports. Vogue Runway featured her FW1516 collection, shown at Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and from the very first season in More Dash Showroom in Paris the interest of the buyers and orders are growing.

PROSKUROVSKAYA

Proskurovskaya specialized on original footwear production and accessories made of the ecological materials. Maria Proskurovskaya, the designer and founder of the brand, invented her own type of shoes — MVRS (Movers) which she patented in 2015. MVRS is a unique patented technology of manufacturing which allows to create maximum comfortable and ecological footwear. The name of SS17 collection is «Bubbles» — this shape is jumping from shoes to shopper bags and clutches of suede and plastic.

SHUSHAN

Shushan belongs to those new generation of designers who will definitely give some noticeable changes to the fashion industry by creating unique, vibrant, but comfortable and wearable outfits. Brand’s DNA is inspired by the designer’s Armenian roots and a simple cut and clean colors. It’s been just 1 year since she stepped into fashion and Shushan collections already worn and appreciated by Eleonora Carisi, Alina Baikova and Daria Shapovalova and mentioned in Vogue Italia, Vogue Russia, Vogue Ukraine, Cosmopolitan Italia, and L’Officiel Italia.

THEO

Theo is a conceptual brand of fashionable women’s clothing, launched by a popular Ukrainian stylist and showman Theo Dekan. Having just performed as a designer in winter 2014, he appeared in NowFashion and on Vogue Runway with his SS16 show at Mercedes-Benz Kiev fashion days. THEO develops three main directions in its garments: ironic, straight, and eccentric. Shoes and accessories lines are also additions to his main line.

WEANNABE

WeAnnaBe is a womenswear label established in 2014 by young fashion designer and fashion photographer Anna Sokol. The girl nourishes the label with her bright vision, own energy, inspiration and life philosophy. Anna is a real WeAnnaBe girl alive: active, charismatic and life-loving. The label’s style can be defined as ‘smart casual’ since the clothes are feminine and playful, comfortable and often have easy-to-wear design. WeAnnaBe developed a strong retail in Ukraine on the basis of her production and ready to expand internationally.
